How we are regulated.

Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA)

Devall Law is authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), the independent regulatory body for solicitors and law firms in England and Wales. As an SRA-regulated firm, we are required to comply with the SRA Standards and Regulations, which set out the principles and codes of conduct that govern our professional behaviour.

This regulatory framework ensures that we act with honesty, integrity, and independence at all times, and that we provide legal services in a way that upholds the rule of law and protects the interests of our clients. We are also subject to ongoing supervision and are required to maintain appropriate systems, controls, and safeguards, including professional indemnity insurance, to protect our clients.

Further information regarding the SRA and the protections available to clients can be found at www.sra.org.uk.

Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS)

Devall Law is accredited under the Law Society's Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS), the recognised quality standard for residential conveyancing practices in England and Wales. The CQS accreditation is awarded to firms that demonstrate adherence to high standards of technical expertise, client care, and risk management in conveyancing transactions.

As part of the scheme, we are required to follow the Law Society's Conveyancing Protocol, which promotes consistency and transparency in the conveyancing process. We are also subject to regular assessment and must maintain robust procedures to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Our CQS accreditation provides reassurance to clients, lenders, and other stakeholders that we deliver a professional, reliable, and diligent conveyancing service.
